Mauler MAL-1R

The Mauler MAL-1R is a 90-ton assault built for sniping at long range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out near 54 km/h, sluggish for its weight. Each arm carries an ER Large Laser, while both torsos mount a pair of AC/2 autocannons alongside an LRM 15 apiece, giving it four separate long-range weapon systems firing from the torsos alone. CASE lines both the left and right torso, guarding against ammunition explosions feeding those autocannons and missile racks. An extra-light engine and ferro-fibrous armor keep the weight in check, and eleven double heat sinks manage the ER laser output. Luthien Armor Works builds the type at Luthien, with a second line at New Samarkand.
