Griffin IIC 8

The Griffin IIC 8 is a 40-ton striker built for close-in work, a departure from the missile-boat original's long-range focus. Where the base Griffin IIC carried four LRM 5 racks and an ER Small Laser, this configuration replaces them with a Heavy Medium Laser and a Streak SRM 2 in each torso, keeping the ER Large Laser but relocating it from the center torso to the head. An ECM suite sits in the left torso, absent from the original, and the engine shifts from a standard 240 fusion plant to a 240 XL fusion engine. Jump range extends from 180 to 270 metres, while cruising speed holds at 65 km/h and top speed at 97. Both arms carry reinforced battle fists.
