Griffin IIC 5

The Griffin IIC 5 is a 40-ton striker, a 3071 rework of the 2852 original that traded away its missile-boat role for close-range work. Where the base Griffin IIC carries an LRM 5 in each torso and an ER Large Laser in the center torso, this configuration mounts a Light Machine Gun in the left torso and another in the right torso, alongside an ER Small Laser in the right torso, and it moves the ER Large Laser up into the head. Jump range extends from 180 to 210 metres on the same 240 fusion engine, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97. Reinforced battle fists remain on both arms, and Barcella Alpha builds it at Barcella, alongside Irece.
