Recognition notes
The Griffin IIC 2 is a 40-ton striker, a 2973 rework of the 2852 Griffin IIC missile boat. Where the original carried four LRM 5 racks split between the torsos, this configuration replaces them with four Streak SRM 2 launchers in the same left- and right-torso positions, trading standoff missile fire for a tighter, more reliable punch. The ER Large Laser in the center torso and the ER Small Laser in the head carry over from the original. Both arms retain reinforced battle fists, and Irece Alpha builds the type at Irece, with production also at Barcella.
