Griffin IIC 6

The Griffin IIC 6 is a 40-ton striker that closes to a shorter fighting range than the 2852 original, trading its long-range missile-boat armament for a mixed close punch. Where the base Griffin IIC carried an LRM 5 in each torso, an ER Large Laser in the center torso, and an ER Small Laser in the head, this configuration mounts a Heavy Large Laser in the left torso alongside twin ATM 3 launchers split between the left and right torsos. A lighter 200 fusion engine replaces the base model's 240, dropping cruising speed from 65 km/h to 54 and top speed from 97 to 86, though jump range grows from 180 to 240 metres. Both arms carry the reinforced battle fists seen on the original, and the type is built by Irece Alpha at Irece.
