Griffin IIC 3

The Griffin IIC 3 is a 40-ton striker built for close-in work, a sharp turn from the original 2852 missile boat, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out at 97 with a 180-metre jump. Where the base Griffin IIC carried an LRM 5 in each torso, this variant swaps them for a Heavy Medium Laser and a Streak SRM 2 in the left torso and a matching pair in the right torso. The ER Large Laser in the center torso carries over from the original, but the head mounts a Heavy Small Laser in place of the earlier ER Small Laser. Both arms still carry reinforced battle fists, and Barcella Alpha builds the type at its Barcella plant, with Brim Ironworks also producing it.
