Grendel (Mongrel) T

The Grendel (Mongrel) T is a 45-ton striker fielded alongside the Prime configuration, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out at 119, with a 210-metre jump capability. Where the Prime mounts twin ER Medium Lasers in the left arm, this configuration carries a pair of Improved Heavy Medium Lasers in the same location, and the right arm trades the Prime's ER Large Laser and ER Small Laser for a Large Pulse Laser and an Improved Heavy Small Laser. In place of the Prime's Streak SRM 6 in the right torso, this configuration fields a plain SRM 6, and the head weapon is an ER Small Laser rather than an ER Medium Laser. Both share the rugged, field-serviceable frame, ferro-fibrous armor, and the 315 XL fusion engine; the type is built by Arcadia BattleMech Plant CM-T15, among other sites.
