Grendel (Mongrel) B

The Grendel (Mongrel) B is a 45-ton striker built on a 315 XL fusion engine, cruising at 76 km/h and topping out at 119. Where the Prime configuration carries twin ER medium lasers in the left arm alongside an ER large laser and ER small laser in the right, this configuration fields a Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm and pairs an Ultra AC/5 with an ER Medium Laser in the right arm, adding a second Medium Pulse Laser in the right torso and an ER Small Laser in the center torso. In place of the Prime's Streak SRM 6 and head-mounted ER Medium Laser, this configuration carries no torso missile system or head weapon, and its heat-sink count of 10 double sinks is lower than the Prime's 12. Ferro-fibrous armor and endo steel structure carry over, and the frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable build. Arcadia BattleMech Plant CM-T15 produces it, with additional output from other listed plants.
