Recognition Notes
The GOL-5W is an 80-ton brawler, a field rebuild of the Goliath that trades the GOL-1H's sniping loadout for close-in firepower. Where the 1H mounted a PPC, twin LRM 10 racks, and a pair of machine guns across both torsos, the 5W strips all of that out and packs the right torso with two Plasma Rifles and three Medium Lasers. Stealth armor replaces the standard plating, and a Guardian ECM suite in the center torso works with a C3i computer in the head. Cruising and top speed hold at 43 and 65 km/h, and the heat-sink count drops from 17 single to 15 double sinks. As a field refit it carries no fixed manufacturer, being assembled at various sites rather than a dedicated production line.
