Goliath C

The Goliath C is an 80-ton assault that fights at long range, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out near 54, well below the GOL-1H's 43/65 pace, running on a 240 Inner Sphere fusion engine in place of the original's 320. Where the 1H carried twin LRM 10 racks, twin machine guns, and a single PPC, the C fields a Gauss rifle, an ER Large Laser, and a Micro Pulse Laser in the left torso, an ATM 9 in the right torso, and an ER Medium Laser in the head. Anti-BattleArmor Pods cover the front and rear of each leg, Clan CASE II lines both the left and right torsos, and the left torso also houses a quad turret while a Clan targeting computer sits in the center torso. The 11 Inner Sphere double heat sinks replace the 1H's 17 single sinks. Brigadier Corporation builds it at Oliver, with production also underway at Stewart.
