Recognition notes
The Goliath GOL-5D is an 80-ton assault that fights close in, cruising at 43 km/h and topping out near 65. Where the 2652-era GOL-1H carried a PPC and paired LRM 10 racks for long-range sniping, this 3067 rebuild strips that armament for a Rotary AC/5 in the left torso and three ER medium lasers in the right torso, with a fourth ER medium laser in the head. Machine guns cover close work from the center torso and from rear-facing mounts in both legs, and a targeting computer sits alongside the right torso lasers. CASE lines the left torso, and the double heat sinks replace the base model's single sinks. General Motors builds the type at Kathil.
