The Firestarter FS9-OX is a 45-ton striker that trades the FS9-O's paired large lasers for a mixed short-range fit. Its left arm carries a Streak SRM 2 alongside an Angel ECM suite, where the base configuration mounts a Large Laser alone, and its right arm carries a Large X-Pulse Laser in place of the base's Large Laser and its two flamers. The center torso keeps a forward flamer and a rear-facing flamer, and the right torso carries a Bloodhound active probe in place of the base configuration's Beagle active probe. Cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97, with a 180-metre jump capability, it carries the same reinforced head cowl and maintenance-intensive build as its sibling, and is built by Coventry Metal Works among other manufacturers.
