Firestarter (OmniMech) FS9-OC

The Firestarter FS9-OC is a 45-ton missile boat that fights at long range, an alternate configuration fielded alongside the FS9-O striker on the same chassis. Where the base configuration mounts a Large Laser in each arm, this configuration carries an LRM 10 in each arm, and in place of the right arm's Flamer it fields a Small Laser in the right torso. Flamers remain in the center torso, one facing forward and one rear-facing. It runs on a 270 XL fusion engine, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97, with a 180-metre jump range, and carries a reinforced head cowl on an otherwise maintenance-intensive design. Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry, with production also carried out at other sites.
