Firestarter (OmniMech) FS9-OU

The Firestarter FS9-OU is a 45-ton striker that fights close in, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97, with a jump range of 180 metres. Where the FS9-O carries a Large Laser in each arm, this configuration mounts a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers in the left arm, with a third in the left torso, a fourth in the right torso, and a fifth in the head; the flamers in the center torso and rear-facing center torso carry over unchanged. In place of the base configuration's two flamers in the right arm, this configuration fits a sword, and where the FS9-O's right torso holds a Beagle active probe, this one carries a liquid storage bay instead. The type keeps the reinforced head cowl and remains a maintenance-intensive design. Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry, with production also underway at other sites.
