Firestarter (OmniMech) FS9-OD

The Firestarter FS9-OD is a 45-ton sniper configuration that fights at long range, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97, with a 180-metre jump. Where the FS9-O mounts a Large Laser in each arm, this configuration carries an ER PPC in the left arm and pairs a Medium Laser with an LRM 5 in the right arm. The base configuration's second and third flamers in the right arm are absent here, leaving just the Flamer in the center torso and the rear-facing Flamer behind it. A Guardian ECM suite occupies the right torso in place of the base's Beagle active probe, and a C3 slave unit sits in the left torso. The chassis keeps its reinforced head cowl, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry, with production also carried out at other sites.
