Firestarter (OmniMech) FS9-OH

The Firestarter FS9-OH is a 45-ton striker built for close-in work, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out at 97, with a 180-meter jump capability. Where the FS9-O mounts a Large Laser in each arm, this configuration carries a Medium Pulse Laser, a Small Pulse Laser, and a pair of Machine Guns in the left arm, with a Medium Pulse Laser and Small Pulse Laser in the right arm, and an ER Medium Laser sits in the left torso. In place of the base configuration's right-arm flamers, the right arm holds a Beagle active probe and a Guardian ECM suite, while the right torso carries CASE rather than the probe found there on the FS9-O. An Anti-Missile System sits in the head, and front- and rear-facing flamers remain mounted in the center torso. The type carries a reinforced head cowl, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry, with production at other sites as well.
