Firestarter (OmniMech) FS9-OB

The FS9-OB is a 45-ton striker that fights close-in, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out near 97, with a jump range of 180 metres on its 270 XL fusion engine. Where the FS9-O mounts a Large Laser in each arm, this configuration carries twin Medium Pulse Lasers in the left arm and a Large Pulse Laser with a Small Laser in the right arm, and the flamer pair in the right arm gives way to that pulse laser armament, leaving only the flamer in the center torso and the rear-facing flamer in place. A TAG unit sits in the right torso in place of the base configuration's Beagle active probe, and a C3 slave unit occupies the left torso. The type carries a reinforced head cowl and is known as a maintenance-intensive design, and Coventry Metal Works builds it at Coventry alongside other factories.
