Excalibur EXC-CS

The EXC-CS is a 70-ton skirmisher, a 3067 rebuild of the 2619 EXC-B1 that swaps the Gauss rifle in the right arm for an ER PPC and drops the Small Pulse Laser from the left arm entirely. In its place the right torso now carries four ER Medium Lasers, and an ER Small Laser sits in the head. The LRM 20 in the left torso carries over, still paired with the Artemis IV fire-control system, and a targeting computer joins it in that torso. Endo steel structure and Triple-Strength Myomer replace the base model's standard structure and myomer, letting the design push its cruising speed to 76 km/h under combat heat, and the anti-missile system is gone in favor of CASE in the right torso. Twelve double heat sinks replace the EXC-B1's eleven singles. Independence Weaponry builds the type at its Quentin works.
