Excalibur EXC-B2b-EC

The Excalibur EXC-B2b-EC is a 70-ton missile boat, a field-rebuilt version of the EXC-B1 skirmisher of 2619 that pushes the design out to long range. Where the base model carries a Small Pulse Laser in the left arm, this refit fields a Prototype ER Medium Laser, and the Gauss Rifle in the right arm gives way to an Improved Gauss Rifle. The LRM 20 in the left torso becomes an Improved LRM 20, still tied to a Clan Artemis IV fire-control system, and a Prototype ER Small Laser now covers the rear from the center torso. Inner Sphere CASE lines both the left and right torso, and the Anti-Missile System shifts from the left torso to the center torso. Endo steel internal structure and 12 Clan double heat sinks replace the base model's standard structure and 11 single heat sinks, while cruising speed holds at 54 km/h with a top speed of 86. As a field refit, it carries no single manufacturer, being assembled at various sites rather than a dedicated production line.
