Excalibur EXC-C1

The Excalibur EXC-C1 is a 70-ton skirmisher, a 3058 rebuild of the 2619 EXC-B1 original. Where the B1 carries a Small Pulse Laser in the left arm, the C1 mounts a Medium Laser, and the Gauss Rifle in the right arm and the LRM 20 in the left torso carry over unchanged. The Anti-Missile System in the left torso is gone, replaced by CASE, and a second CASE installation appears in the right torso; the Artemis IV fire-control system tied to the LRM 20 remains in place. Ten double heat sinks replace the base model's eleven single sinks, and cruising speed holds at 54 km/h with a top speed near 86. Yankee Weapons Systems builds the C1 at New Earth, rather than the Terra line that produced the B1.
