Emperor EMP-7L

The EMP-7L is a 90-ton juggernaut, a 3069 rebuild of the 2442 original that trades reach for weight of fire. Where the EMP-1A carried an AC/5 in each arm, this variant mounts an AC/10 in the left arm and an AC/10 in the right arm, and its left torso adds an ER large laser alongside a pair of medium pulse lasers in place of the single medium lasers scattered across the left torso, right torso, and head. Triple-strength myomer and a lighter 270 fusion engine replace the standard myomer and 325 fusion engine, leaving cruising speed at 32 km/h and top speed at 54 km/h, with that same 54 km/h reachable as a boosted cruising speed under combat heat. Stealth armor replaces the primitive plating of the original, a Guardian ECM suite sits in the left torso, and CASE lines the right torso; the type still stands as a command 'Mech, and 12 double heat sinks replace the earlier 10 single. StarCorps Industries builds it at Menke, with additional production at St. Ives.
