Emperor EMP-6A (Nerran)

The EMP-6A (Nerran) is a 90-ton assault refit that turns the Emperor into a sniper, trading the 2442 EMP-1A's juggernaut role for stand-off firepower while cruising at the same 32 km/h and topping out near 54. Where the original carried a pair of AC/5s in the arms and three medium lasers across the torsos and head, this configuration mounts a Large Laser and an LB 10-X AC together in the left arm, a Gauss Rifle in the right arm, and an ER PPC in the right torso. A lighter 270 Inner Sphere XL fusion engine replaces the EMP-1A's 325 fusion plant, and standard armor covers the frame in place of the primitive plating the original wore. Fourteen Inner Sphere double heat sinks stand in for the ten single sinks of the 2442 model, and a jump capability of 90 metres gives it mobility the original lacked. It remains a command 'Mech, built by Quarry Arms with production also carried out at other sites.
