Emperor EMP-6S

The Emperor EMP-6S is a 90-ton juggernaut built for close-in fighting, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54, with a 90-metre jump capability the EMP-1A lacked. Where the 1A carried an AC/5 in each arm, this configuration mounts an LB 20-X AC in each torso, backed by CASE in both the left and right torso bays. The single medium lasers in the torsos give way to medium pulse lasers, and a third medium pulse laser sits in the center torso; the medium laser in the head carries over from the original. A lighter 270 XL fusion engine replaces the 1A's 325 fusion engine, and standard armor and 12 double heat sinks replace the primitive plating and 10 single heat sinks of the earlier model. Like its predecessor it is built as a command 'Mech, and StarCorps Industries produces it at Son Hoa.
