Emperor EMP-6A-EC

The EMP-6A-EC is a 90-ton assault reworked as a field-refit sniper, a shift from the EMP-1A's close-in juggernaut role, though its loadout mixes long-reaching and close-quarters weapons in roughly equal measure. Where the original carried an AC/5 in each arm, this configuration mounts an LB 10-X AC and an ER Large Laser in the left arm, and an LB 5-X AC alongside a Prototype Streak SRM 4 in the right. The torso medium lasers are replaced by an ER Large Laser and Medium Pulse Laser in the right torso and a Medium Pulse Laser in the left torso, with Inner Sphere CASE lining both side torsos. A lighter 270 Inner Sphere XL fusion engine stands in for the EMP-1A's 325 fusion engine, and 14 Inner Sphere double heat sinks replace the original's 10 single sinks; cruising and top speeds hold at 32 and 54 km/h, but a jump capability of 90 metres is added, and standard armor now covers the frame in place of the EMP-1A's primitive plating. As a field refit, it carries no fixed manufacturer and is assembled at various sites rather than a dedicated production line.
