Dervish DV-7D

The Dervish DV-7D is a 55-ton missile boat that fights at long range, a 3047 rebuild of the 2520 DV-1S original. Where the DV-1S carried a single SRM 2 in each arm, the DV-7D adds a Medium Laser alongside a Streak SRM 2 in both the left and right arm, and the twin LRM 10 racks in the side torsos carry over. A 275 fusion engine and endo steel structure lift cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86, and jump range extends from 90 to 150 metres. Ferro-fibrous armor replaces the original's primitive plating, double heat sinks replace the single-strength bank, and CASE now lines both side torsos. The chassis keeps its hyper-extending arm actuators and its easily-serviced design, and Achernar BattleMechs builds it at New Avalon.
