Charger C

The Charger C is an 80-ton scout, a 3130 rebuild of the 2665 CGR-1A1 that keeps the same 400-rated engine and cruising and top speeds of 54 and 86 km/h but converts it to a Clan XL fusion plant and adds a supercharger and Clan MASC in the left torso for a sprint speed of 135 km/h with both engaged. Where the original mounted five Small Lasers, this variant carries four Improved Heavy Medium Lasers, one each in the left arm, right arm, left torso, and right torso, with an ER Medium Laser in the head. Clan ferro-lamellor armor replaces the standard plating of the CGR-1A1, and the heat-sink count rises from 10 single to 15 Inner Sphere double. The right torso adds a Bloodhound active probe and a Clan targeting computer, and the center torso carries an Angel ECM suite. It remains an easily-serviced design, and Raveena Electronics builds it at Ramora.
