Catapult CPLT-K4

The Catapult CPLT-K4 is a 65-ton sniper that fights at long range, a 3068 rebuild of the 2561 CPLT-C1 missile boat. Where the C1 carried a pair of LRM 15 racks in its arms, the K4 mounts a Heavy PPC in each arm, and the four medium lasers of the original are replaced by a single ER medium laser in the left torso and another in the right. A C3 slave unit sits in the center torso. A lighter 195 fusion engine drops cruising speed from the C1's 43 km/h to 32, with a top speed of 54 km/h, and jump range falls from 120 to 90 metres. Light ferro-fibrous armor stands in for the C1's standard plating, and 17 double heat sinks replace its 15 single units. The K4 carries the chassis's minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and its fragile head, and is built by Yori 'Mech Works at Al Na'ir.
