Catapult CPLT-K2

The CPLT-K2 is a 65-ton heavy that fights at long range, a 2603 rebuild of the 2561 CPLT-C1 that trades its missile role for direct-fire punch. Where the C1 mounted an LRM 15 in each arm, the K2 carries a PPC in the left arm and a PPC in the right arm, and each torso now pairs a Medium Laser with a Machine Gun rather than the C1's twin Medium Lasers in the center torso alongside single lasers in the side torsos. It cruises at 43 km/h and tops out near 65, unchanged from the original's ground speed, but loses the C1's jump capability entirely. The heat-sink count climbs from 15 to 20 single sinks to cope with the PPCs, and the type keeps the same minimal, weapon-pod arms without hands and fragile head. Yori 'Mech Works builds it at Al Na'ir.
