Stinger STG-6L

The STG-6L is a 3067 rebuild of the 2479-era Stinger, a 20-ton scout that trades its predecessor's mixed armament for cleaner reach: where the STG-3R carried a medium laser and paired machine guns split across both arms, the 6L drops the machine guns for a second medium laser, giving it one in each arm. A 160 fusion engine replaces the STG-3R's 120, lifting cruising speed from 65 to 86 km/h and top speed from 97 to 130, though the type no longer carries jump jets. Endo steel structure and stealth armor replace the standard components of the original, and a Guardian ECM suite now sits in the center torso alongside 10 double heat sinks in place of the earlier single sinks. The frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable construction and cramped cockpit, and Bergan Industries builds it at Ares along with other sites.
