Stinger STG-3Gb

The STG-3Gb is a 20-ton striker built for close-in work, a role shift from the STG-3R scout it derives from. Where the 3R relied on a pair of machine guns and a single medium laser, this configuration replaces that battery with three medium lasers, one in each arm and one in the center torso, backed by a small laser in the head. A 140 XL fusion engine and endo steel structure lift cruising speed from 65 to 76 km/h and top speed from 97 to 119 km/h, fast for a 20-ton machine, and jump range extends from 180 to 210 metres. Ten double heat sinks replace the 3R's single-type bank. The frame keeps its rugged, field-serviceable construction and cramped cockpit, and Earthwerks-FWL, Inc. builds it at Calloway VI.
