Recognition notes
The Stinger STG-6G is a 20-ton scout that fights close in, a 3103 rebuild of the 2479-era STG-3R. Where the original mounted a standard medium laser in the right arm, this configuration carries a Medium X-Pulse Laser in the same location, alongside a machine gun in the left arm and another machine gun in the right arm. A 140 XL fusion engine and endo steel structure lift its cruising speed from 65 to 76 km/h and its top speed from 97 to 119 km/h, with jump range extended from 180 to 210 metres, and ten double heat sinks replace the STG-3R's single heat sinks. It keeps the rugged, field-serviceable frame and cramped cockpit of the earlier model, and Bergan Industries builds it at Ares.
