Recognition Notes
The SHD-6D is a 55-ton skirmisher, a heavier rebuild of the 50-ton SHD-1R sniper introduced in 2467. Where the original carried a Medium Laser and an AC/5, this variant swaps in a Medium Re-engineered Laser in the right arm, a Large Re-engineered Laser in the left torso, an MML 5 in the right torso, and an improved one-shot Streak SRM 2 in the head. A heavier 275 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, while endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor replace the standard structure and primitive plating of the SHD-1R, and CASE II now lines the right torso. The reinforced battle fists on both arms and the rugged, field-serviceable frame carry over from the earlier model. Kallon Weapon Industries builds the SHD-6D at its Wernke plant.
