Shadow Hawk SHD-2Hb

The SHD-2Hb rebuilds the Shadow Hawk five tons heavier than the 2752 chassis' 2467 SHD-1R ancestor, turning it from a sniper into a 55-ton skirmisher. Where the SHD-1R carries a single medium laser in the right arm, this variant mounts a medium laser in each arm and swaps the left torso's AC/5 for an LB 10-X AC, with CASE fitted in the right torso. Twin Streak SRM 2 launchers sit one in the right torso and one in the head, weapons absent from the original loadout. A heavier 275 fusion engine raises cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86, and endo steel structure and ferro-fibrous armor replace the SHD-1R's standard structure and primitive plating. The type mounts reinforced battle fists on both arms and has a rugged, field-serviceable frame. Lang Industries Inc. builds it at Caph, among other sites.
