Sentinel STN-5WB

The STN-5WB is a 40-ton striker, a 3070 rebuild of the 2651 STN-1S scout that shifts the Sentinel toward closer, harder-hitting work. Where the STN-1S carried a single AC/2 in the left arm, this configuration mounts a pair of Light AC/5s in that same limb, and the SRM 4 and Small Laser of the original give way to three ER Medium Lasers spread across the left torso, right torso, and center torso. A 240 light fusion engine replaces the standard fusion plant while holding the same 65 km/h cruising and 97 km/h top speed, and ten double heat sinks stand in place of the STN-1S's twelve single sinks. CASE now lines the left torso, and the type still carries its enhanced communications gear. Defiance Industries builds it at Hesperus II.
