The Sentinel STN-3K is a 40-ton scout, a 2830 rebuild of the 2651 original, cruising at 65 km/h and topping out at 97. In place of the STN-1S's AC/2 it carries an AC/5 in the left arm, while the SRM 4 in the right torso gives way to a lighter SRM 2 alongside the same small laser. Heat-sink count falls from 12 to 10 single sinks. Enhanced communications gear remains fitted, and Defiance Industries builds the type at Hesperus II.
