Sentinel STN-3Lb

The Sentinel STN-3Lb reworks the chassis into a 40-ton sniper that fights at long range, a shift from the STN-1S's scouting role of 2651. Where the original carried an AC/2 in the left arm, the STN-3Lb mounts a Gauss Rifle there instead, and the right torso's SRM 4 gives way to a Medium Laser alongside the Small Laser that carries over from the base model. An XL fusion engine replaces the standard fusion plant while holding cruising speed at 65 km/h and top speed at 97, and endo steel structure with ferro-fibrous armor takes the place of the STN-1S's standard construction, though the heat-sink count falls from 12 to 10 single sinks. The enhanced communications gear remains fitted, and Defiance Industries builds the type at Hesperus II.
