Recognition Notes
The STN-3KB is a 40-ton striker built on the Sentinel chassis, a 2830 field refit of the 2651 STN-1S scout. In place of the AC/2 in the left arm it carries a PPC, and the right torso's SRM 4 gives way to an SRM 2 alongside the Small Laser retained from the original mount. The heat-sink count rises from 12 to 13 single, while the 240 fusion engine, standard armor, and cruising and top speeds of 65 and 97 km/h carry over unchanged. It keeps the enhanced communications gear of the STN-1S, and as a field refit it is turned out at various sites rather than a single dedicated line.
