Rifleman IIC 2

The Rifleman IIC 2 is a 65-ton sniper, a 2997 field refit of the 2845 original that trades reach for a swarm of light autocannon fire. Where the base Rifleman IIC mounts four Large Pulse Lasers across its arms, this configuration carries four Ultra AC/2s, two in the Left Arm and two in the Right Arm, and drops the head-mounted ER Small Laser and the center torso active probe entirely. A larger 260 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 32 to 43 km/h and top speed from 54 to 65 km/h, while standard armor replaces the ferro-fibrous plating of the original and the heat-sink count falls from 19 to 10 double heat sinks. Anti-aircraft fire control and enhanced communications gear carry over from the base model. As a field refit it carries no fixed manufacturer, being assembled at various sites.
