Recognition notes
The PNT-C is a 3051 field refit of the 2739 Panther PNT-8Z, a 35-ton brawler that cruises at 43 km/h and tops out near 65, with a jump range of 120 metres. Where the PNT-8Z carries a Large Laser in the right arm, this refit swaps in an ER PPC, and the SRM 4 in the center torso carries over unchanged. Endo steel structure replaces the standard internal structure of the original, and the heat-sink count drops from 14 to 13 single sinks. CASE is fitted in the left torso, and a C3 slave unit sits in the center torso. As a field refit it carries no single manufacturer and is assembled at various sites.
