Recognition Notes
The PNT-14R rebuilds the Panther as a mixed-tech 35-ton brawler, a 3140 refit of the 2739 PNT-8Z original. In place of the Large Laser it carries an ER PPC in the right arm, and the SRM 4 in the center torso becomes a Streak SRM 4. Endo steel internal structure and Inner Sphere ballistic-reinforced armor replace the standard structure and armor of the PNT-8Z, and the heat sink count drops from 14 single to 10 Clan double units. Clan CASE II lines the left torso, and a supercharger in the center torso pushes the sprint speed to 86 km/h when engaged, well above the shared 43 km/h cruising and 65 km/h top speeds. Alshain Weapons builds the type at its Tok Do plant.
