Recognition notes
The PNT-16K is a 3070 rebuild of the 2739 PNT-8Z, a 35-ton brawler that cruises at 43 km/h and tops out near 65, with a jump range of 120 metres. Where the PNT-8Z carried a Large Laser in the right arm, this variant fields an ER PPC there, and in place of the single SRM 4 it mounts a pair of Streak SRM 4 racks in the center torso. Endo steel internal structure and light ferro-fibrous armor replace the standard structure and armor of the original, and the heat-sink count drops from 14 single sinks to 10 double sinks. CASE lines the left torso, a fitting the PNT-8Z lacked. Wakazashi Enterprises builds the type at New Samarkand.
