Recognition notes
The PNT-9ALAG is a 35-ton striker built from a field refit of the original PNT-8Z brawler, a 2950 rework of the 2739 design. In place of the Large Laser in the right arm it carries a PPC, while the SRM 4 in the center torso carries over unchanged. A heavier 175 fusion engine lifts cruising speed from 43 to 54 km/h and top speed from 65 to 86 km/h, though the type loses its jumping legs in the process. Heat sinks drop from 14 to 13 single sinks, and with no fixed manufacturer or factory, the conversion is credited simply to field refit shops working at various sites.
