Recognition Notes
The Lightning LTN-G16T is a 50-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, rebuilt from the LTN-G14 with an autocannon/20 replacing the nose autocannon/10 alongside the same medium laser in the nose, and a targeting computer added there as well. The wing-mounted medium lasers become ER medium lasers, one in the right wing and one in the left wing, and the aft medium laser is likewise replaced by an ER medium laser. Ferro-aluminum armor takes the place of the LTN-G14's primitive fighter plate, and ten double heat sinks cool the design in place of the earlier thirteen single sinks. Taurus Territorial Industries builds it at Taurus.
