Recognition Notes
The Lightning LTN-G16L is a 50-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, replacing the LTN-G14's Autocannon/10 in the nose with an Ultra AC/20 and swapping the nose Medium Laser for an ER Medium Laser. The right wing and left wing each trade their Medium Laser for an ER Medium Laser, while the Medium Laser in the aft carries over unchanged. Ferro-Aluminum armor replaces the Primitive Fighter plate of the LTN-G14, and thirteen double heat sinks take the place of the earlier thirteen single heat sinks. Tengo Aerospace builds the type at Sarna and at St. Ives.
