Lightning LTN-G16O

The Lightning LTN-G16O is a 50-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, rebuilt from the LTN-G14 with a wholly different armament. The nose now carries an LB 20-X AC alongside the medium laser the LTN-G14 also mounted there, replacing that version's autocannon/10. Where the LTN-G14 carried a single medium laser in each wing, this variant fits three ER small lasers to the right wing and three ER small lasers to the left wing, and the aft medium laser carries over unchanged. Armor changes from Primitive Fighter to Ferro-Aluminum, and twelve double heat sinks replace the LTN-G14's thirteen single heat sinks. United Outworlders Corporation builds the type at Ramora.
