Lightning LTN-G16-P (Branson)

The Lightning LTN-G16-P (Branson) is a 50-ton fighter flown as a dogfighter, rebuilt from the LTN-G14 with mixed Inner Sphere and Clan technology in place of the original's pure Inner Sphere systems. The autocannon/10 and medium laser in the nose give way to a single ER medium laser, and the medium lasers in the right wing and left wing become ER medium lasers in the same positions. The single medium laser in the aft arc is replaced by a pair of ER small lasers, also in the aft. Thirteen double heat sinks cool the design, an improvement over the LTN-G14's single heat sinks, and Ferro-Lamellor armor replaces the Primitive Fighter plate of the earlier model.
