The J. Edgar Light Hover Tank (TAG) is a 25-ton hover combat vehicle built for the scout role, cruising at 119 km/h and topping out at 184. Where the base J. Edgar's turret carries a medium laser and paired SRM 2 racks, this refit's turret drops both SRM 2 launchers for a second medium laser and a TAG unit. The hull adds a Beagle active probe not found on the original, and the crew now rides behind ferro-fibrous armor in place of the base model's standard plate. StarCorps Industries performs the refit at Crofton.
