Imp IMP-1C

The IMP-1C is a 100-ton juggernaut built on the same 300 fusion engine as the IMP-1A, cruising at 32 km/h and topping out at 54. Where the IMP-1A carries a Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm, this variant fields two Medium Lasers there, and the LRM 20 in the right arm gives way to a Gauss Rifle. The Medium Pulse Lasers in the torsos and center torso are replaced by Medium Lasers, while the ER PPCs in the left and right torso carry over. A Guardian ECM suite in the right torso takes the place of the base model's Artemis IV fire-control system and CASE installation, and the heat-sink count drops from 18 to 17 double sinks. It remains a command 'Mech and a maintenance-intensive design, built by the Babylon BattleMech Consortium at Babylon (Solath).
