Imp IMP-1B

The Imp IMP-1B is a 100-ton juggernaut that cruises at 32 km/h and tops out at 54, a deliberately slow, heavily armed brawler in the mold of the 2793 IMP-1A. Where the 1A carried medium pulse lasers in the left arm, both torsos, and a pair in the center torso, the 1B replaces all five with plain medium lasers, and the head's small laser is swapped for a medium pulse laser. It keeps the ER PPC in each torso and the LRM 20 in the right arm with its Artemis IV fire-control system, and CASE still lines the left torso. A Guardian ECM suite is added in the right torso, and the heat-sink count rises from 18 to 19 double sinks. Like its predecessor it is a command 'Mech and a maintenance-intensive design, built by the Babylon BattleMech Consortium at Babylon (Solath).
