Imp IMP-1A

The Imp IMP-1A is a 100-ton juggernaut that cruises at a sluggish 32 km/h and tops out near 54, slow even by assault standards. It carries an ER PPC in each torso alongside a Medium Pulse Laser in the same location, with a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers in the center torso, a further Medium Pulse Laser in the left arm, and a Small Laser in the head. An LRM 20 fires from the right arm, linked to an Artemis IV fire-control system, and CASE lines the left torso. The design serves as a command 'Mech and is known as a maintenance-intensive design, with 18 double heat sinks fitted throughout the frame. Babylon BattleMech Consortium builds it at its Babylon plant on Solath.
